Education
To join the wait list for next season, please submit the Membership Application. For Regular and Temporary Memberships, a $50 Application/Wait List Fee may be assessed, if applicable. This fee does not apply to August Memberships and is waived for former holders of Temporary and August memberships. At this time, we have filled all available Regular and Temporary memberships for the 2022 season.

At the moment, there are no COVID-related requirements applicable to KGRC. Note that restrictions could be subject to change based upon guidance from state and local Health Departments, the Governor’s Office, and federal authorities. Unmarried adult children who, as of January 1 of any membership year, are not older than 25 years of age; normally reside with such member; or are full-time students at a recognized educational institution. Kent Gardens Adult Family home could be the right place for you or your loved one to live, thrive and blossom in a homely environment with top quality care. The home is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood on a dead-end street, surrounded by lush green grass back yard with beautiful gardens surrounding the home. The home is designed to accommodate all levels of care needs while maintaining the feeling of home.
August memberships, covering August 1 through Labor Day, remain available. Kent Gardens AFH was founded by a loving couple who dedicated their lives to caring for the elderly. Paul a Registered Nurse and Ann a Certified Nursing Assistant have a combined experience over 25years providing care for seniors. As a matter of fact, they met at work while caring for senior residents and the rest is history.

Kent Gardens Recreation Club is a lovely tree-covered community pool offering swim and dive teams that compete in the Northern Virginia Swimming League . The idea for KGRC was hatched in the springtime of 1956 and the club was established and opened in 1957. KGRC is a member supported non-profit organization, managed by an elected Board of Directors.

Ashland is a neighborhood conveniently located near the Interstate 238 and 580 junction and less than five miles east of the San Francisco Bay. The neighborhood is a residential area popular for commuters to Silicon Valley and other surrounding areas, so renters have several options to choose from.

Our Fairfax County families are officially on summer break, and we can't wait to welcome Arlington and Falls Church students next week - KGRC will be ready for you! In addition to expanded weekday and weekend hours, we will now offer early morning lap swim four days a week (Monday - Thursday).
